An equilibrium stative
A balance parallel
A harmony unwavering
A stable carousel
The light against the darkness
And between them, nothingness
Joining hands are their masters
And between them, nothing less
As if a motionless ballet
When blinking, it's as one
Hearts beating time and time again
Until time itself is done
The world ruled under these budgeless dolls
Is blended from their souls
A cycle bland as night and day
That follows their control
Centuries can pass at once
And neither will but flinch
The balance unreacting
To every little pinch
Yet this ultimate power
Made from the night and day
Is it so that it is perfect,
Who is it that can say?
When one is not mastered
And instead the one that does
There is naught to cease corruption
When corruption rises up
And though separable they are not
Different they still are
So it rises upon them both
Yet in manners far apart
In the heart of the light there is glory
So much it overflows
A pride of the world so boundless
Not even the darkness could know
She begins to see herself mighty
And the sole owner of this land
All that is great and is working
Is only by her hand
In the heart of the dark there is envy
Of the ownership she sees
Feigned by the brightened mirror
So from her sympathy flees
Giving in to both their hearts' whims
Is what causes war
From the light's baseless reverence
The dark will take no more
In a will to regain balance
The blackness overcomes
The work of the light on the land below
To undo what is done
Where nature is manipulated
To produce a matchless yield
The black heart shrivels up the crop
Of every single field
Because birth is celebrated
The people are growing too dense
So the darkened beauty descends
And to stone turns the excess
Day by day the light's world's waning
Devastation all but mere
And the cause is there before her eyes
The solution therefore clear
As the children below are wishing
For the aid of the light to awake
To create an image in darkness
At which the mightiest solider would quake
The once majestic, mysterious darkness
Is now replaced with spite
And in fury now shared and resentful
The dark goddess leaves the light
Rising up from the depths of the forbidden place
Comes a gauntlet of hideous fiends
Which tarnish the untouched simplicity
Of all in the sky's land they see
And too strong with the aid of a thousand dark is
There is nothing by light that can be done
An unseasoned army is thrown from the sky
And depleted to a measly one
In the cold and dark underground wasteland
The survivor weeps for his light
Who responds with a weakened sole blessing
That wills him to get up and fight
Against all odds the child is willing
To be good against all that is bad
But like she had wished so simply
To return, too, the balance they'd had
