Piper sung the song to herself in her head as she picked up the photo of Leo where a smiled showed across her cracked lips as tears fell from her swollen red eyes. She looked up to try and see if he was looking down on her, to see if he knew what she had been through over the past years and to see if he cared when he had left her up there after her rampage as mother nature. She had all the power yet still she had stopped destroying the city for only one person in that world that she cared about she had finished it, for him. What she got in return wasn't what she had expected either. She had held her hand out to take him home, to take him to their children but he couldn't do it he simply told her that they couldn't be together anyone but that he loved her with all of his heart that would never change. She didn't understand it how he could love her but let her go at the same time and couldn't take it either.
Her sisters had tried to help her but they didn't know what she had gone through, she cared about them deeply but they didn't know what it was like, she had always been the middle sister the one who had to stay in control and keep the peace. Phoebe and Prue had always been at each other's throats and she had been the one to sort the mess out even when their grandmother had died she was leaf on her own dealing with the grief. Phoebe had left and Prue had left with her boyfriend. Thus she had been good at coping with stress yet losing what she felt was her soul mate was unbearable, the night that she had gotten back she even had thoughts of ending it right there her life. Her children however stopped her the thought of them growing up with Phoebe would be too clingy and Paige who would be just too crazy.
The tears run down her face as the images flew through her brain showing her about all of the good times that she had shared with the male. His face when they had first slept together, his laugh, the way he helped them through various demons, his expression and joy of their sons being born. He was a white lighter and she was a witch, they weren't meant to be from the start and everything that they had shared together seemed to point to that factor. First their wedding getting ruined by the elders and then Prue and her astral self which was the first sign that they shouldn't be together but she had know that before they even started falling in love with each other. That said they had ignored that factor and continued anyway. In all honesty she should of guessed that they wouldn't make it, she should of known that they weren't destined to be together.
All of that taken into account she still loved him and knew that she always would which was why she was shocked to see Leo appear beside her with a grin on his face after he had clipped his wings by falling from the bridge. He had risked his own powers and his life in order to be with her and their family that was when she smiled in the first time for what seemed like years she smiled, walked up to Leo and kissed him. It was then that she knew they would always be together no matter what.
