Ed fastening his dress and scowled. He wanted to appear perfect. As perfect as possible so that his father wont humiliate him in front of his family at breakfast. Or that his brother will gape long enough so their father will notice there's something unusual about him.

He's not ready for long talk and speech that their father deemed necessary when it concern about their growing children and the changes that followed till adulthood. Or about ed and Al in pretty much everything. Well, truthfully Ed never ready if it is his father that give him the talk about bees and birds.

Ed won't be so reluctant to receive the talk from Van except the fact that Van will humiliate him to no end so early. But that's only the beginning of his nightmare. His father has habit to share everything about his children with almost everyone he met. Not limited to the people where they live in inside the city. No, thank you.

Ed won't give people to have another reason laughing him. He is embarrassed enough that they taunt him with height joke and disliking for milk. Really, Ed wants to make his life simple and everyone else can stay in the dark for all he care.

Which he didn't.

With last tug of his hair bow, Ed broaden his chest and began stepping out of his bedroom. He was reaching the door knob when someone called his name.

"Ed?" the heavy voice has drawl that made Ed's hand twitched. Or at least that's all he allow to display. Certainly not the twitch of the other part of his body.

"Yes?" he answered in clipped voice. He hates the effect that voice had on him, so early in the morning before breakfast with his family, that has Van in there. No matter how much time he spent last night to wan his bone away.

"You look hot with that lace. Especially if you put that lace around.."

"Please do stop your taunt or you won't get touch from me for whole week," Ed smiling brightly with heavy malice so clear on his eyes.

Roy pouting, "I just want you to stay here longer."

Ed hates that kicked puppy look. He often wonder why he fall for such cunning bastard like him.

"I reckon that our ancestor, Romeo and Juliette's sacrifice has opened our family's perception about a lot of thing includes their silly unbased hatred toward each other. A lot of thing," Ed repeated when he saw Roy's mouth opened to say something, "and it means not everything. I can't expect your family to accept me and otherwise."

"I don't care what they think," Roy shrugged his shoulder before his eyes twinkling mischievously and mouthed a 'I want you'.
