You once thought that witches and wizards were the only humans capable of using magic. It may be true that they are the sole users of such tinker toys as wands, but given enough training and enough patience true believers, and an ordinary muggle can one day become a master of the mystic arts.

But Harry Potter didn't know this on the day he was looking for a ring for his girlfriend, Ginny Weasley. While he knew that magic can somehow make its way into a muggle bloodline (perhaps it is a reawakening of magic in a bloodline consisting of generations of squibs), he always believed that magic is something you are born with. It was impossible for a muggle to learn magic at all. End of Story. Goodbye. The End.

But this commonly accepted fact was the last thing on Harry's mind as he browsed the rings in the glass. It had to be absolutely perfect for when he proposes to Ginny this Friday. Then he saw it. It was a small gold band with an orange square gem inside of it that seemed to emit a glow. On it was engravings that seemed like a different alphabet. Perhaps Mandarin Chinese. "This one looks perfect!" He told the shopkeeper. "How much for it?"

"Ah! Good eye Mr. Potter. For that one, I believe 4,000 Galleons would suffice."

Harry was put back a bit from the price. "Four thousand's a bit much for a ring don't you think?"

"Normally yes, but this is no ordinary ring Mr. Potter. You see that Gem inside of it? I have checked all of my books and guides to precious stones, and found no record of it. It's absolutely one of a kind. Trust me, you are getting a bargain for this ring."

"That sounds a bit shady though. Are you sure there aren't any curses or jinxes on it?"

"I performed every diagnostic spell in the book. No curse on that ring that I'm familiar with. So do we have a deal?"

Harry thought to himself for a second. It was beautiful, and the fact that the stone was one of a kind is impressive. "Yeah, I'll take it." After counting his gold, Harry handed it to the shopkeeper who in returned handed him the ring in a small box. "Thank you sir. My girlfriend will love it!"

"Anytime Mr. Potter, and if any of your friends are in need of a ring, do recommend me to them."

Harry gave a small smile and walked out of the shop, but not before bumping into an elderly Chinese gentleman who has just walked into the shop, bringing him to the ground. "Sorry mate." he said as he helped him up.

The elderly man was not pleased by him and shoved him away. "You should be sorry, boy! Be lucky that I am in a hurry." And he just continued into the shop. Harry shrugged and disapparated from the premises.

As the elderly man walked towards the glass case, the shopkeeper took notice of the determined look on his wrinkly face. "Y'alright there mate?"

"I'm looking for a ring," the man said ominously.

"Well we have quite a large selection to choose f-"

"A specific ring."

The shopkeeper looked uncomfortable speaking with the man. "Well, what do you have in mind?"

A gold band with a square orange stone in the center. It has an engraving on it that translates to spectral."

"I-I'm sorry sir but I'm afraid that i do not ha-"

"Do not patronize me with your lies. I traced that ring to this very location. It would be wise for you to give it to me."

"I'm afraid that I've sold it."

The old man clenched his left hand which had rings on three of his five fingers. "And to whom did you sell it to?"

"To the man you bumped into when walking into the store."

"And who might that be?"

The shopkeeper's eyes widened "You mean you don't know."

"Should I?"

"That was Harry Potter! He's pretty much the hero of Wizarding Britain. He saved us all from You-Kn-"

The ring on the man's ring finger began to glow, and the shopkeeper's face went blank. "I care not for what this person did. I only care about where he is. Tell me, now!"

"I don't know. He dispirited. He probably went home."

"And where would that be?"

"No one really knows. His house is under the fidelius charm. The only person who can tell you is the secret keeper."

"And who is the secret keeper?"

"Only people who are allowed entry to his home know. That's why it is a secret."

The old man gritted his teeth and raised his right fist. While the ring on his thumb was glowing the entire time, the one on his index finger began to glow. It shot a beam at the shopkeeper, throwing him back into the wall. "You should work on the customer service here. It really is awful."

The old man barged out of the shop. A minute or two later, a middle aged man with black hair and white hair at the temples walked in to see the unconscious shopkeeper. He walked over to him and got on his knees. He placed his hands over his body as his hands began to glow. The lacerations that the shopkeeper suffered from the impact began to instantly mend themselves. He regained consciousness. "What the... who are you?"

"Never mind that. What happened to you?"

"This elderly Chinese man was questioning me on one of my customers. Apparently I sold him a ring that he really wanted."

"And who is this customer?"

"Harry Potter. I told him i didn't know where to find him, and he pointed one of his rings at me, and it shot out a spell. I think it was a stunning spell, but how can that be? He didn't have a wand. How could a ring shoot out a spell? Strange, isn't it?"

"Yes, it is strange. Now i suggest that you go home and get some rest. You'll probably be sore for a couple of days. Thank you for the information." The man stood up and walked to the door.

"Are you an Auror?" the shopkeeper asked before he could leave the store.

"The man turned his head towards the shopkeeper and gave a warm smile. "Not exactly."

A/N: I've always wanted to do a crossover between Harry Potter and Marvel Comics. I didn't want to do one where Harry is this super powerful immortal wizard who gets recruited by the Avengers and Shield, or Harry is the child of one of the Avengers. Instead, I want this to be a story where characters of the Marvel Universe gets involved in a conflict taking place in Harry's world. Now certain things i'm going to take some creative license on, such as the ten rings. You'll see later on. Also I'm going to be picking and choosing elements from both Earth 616 (normal Marvel Universe) and the MCU. Thank you all for reading. Please review and tell me what you think. (I've always wanted to say this next bit.) Until next time true believers! EXCELSIOR!
