A/N: Hello, reader. This is a Madoka Magica story that I've wanted to write. Nothing special, just a humble little story, that I'll be putting up in multiple small parts, as it will drive me to complete it.
I won't be listing any pairings in this story, but will it be the pairing you think it'll be? Maybe it will. This story isn't of my usual level lately, but I haven't been writing fanfiction much lately so hopefully this'll get me back into the rhythm as well as into the Madoka fandom.
Please enjoy the story as these little snippets are posted. Thank you for reading.

"Oooh, Madoka, trying out yellow today?" Sayaka said, smiling as the two girls made their way to school, along with their friend Hitomi.
Madoka put her hands up to the new ribbons in her hair, both of them a gold color. "Yeah, I thought I'd try something different today... Does it look good?"
"It looks great, Madoka!" Sayaka said with a wide smile, "You'll have boys noticing you all day!"
Madoka gave Sayaka a sideways smile. Of course, by 'boys', Sayaka actually meant 'girls', but with Hitomi walking with them, the two girls were forced to keep the pink-haired girl's preferences under wraps.
"They do look very nice, Madoka," Hitomi said.
"Thanks, Hitomi," Madoka said.
"Trying to impress someone, Madoka?" Sayaka suddenly started to tease her best friend.
The pink-haired girl's cheeks went rosy and she stammered over her response.
"U-Uh, w-well..."
Sayaka looked genuinely surprised. "Oh you do like someone!"
"Sayaka," Hitomi lightly scolded her, a cross look on her face, "don't tease her about it."
"R-Right... Sorry, Madoka..."
The pink-haired girl smiled, her cheeks still rosy. "I-It's okay..."

"Eh, I think you look way better with the red ribbons," said Kyoko, speaking through a mouthful of food.
"Oh, I think they look great on you, Madoka," Mami said as the group of five girls sat around a circular table in the school cafeteria.
"I think it looks really pretty!" Homura said, smiling shyly behind her glasses.
"Aww, thanks, you guys..." Madoka said, blushing slightly at the compliments she was receiving.
"'Cept for Kyoko," Sayaka said with a smirk, "she's just a Debbie Downer."
"Hey!" the redhead said, throwing her arms up. "I'm just sayin' what I think!"
"Guys, don't fight..." Madoka said.
"Yeah, right... Sorry..." Sayaka said, before glancing over at Homura. The black-haired girl kept taking long looks at Madoka. Looking around, Sayaka saw that Madoka, Mami, and Kyoko were currently in a lively discussion about food, so she took the opportunity to nudge Homura's foot with her own.
The black-haired girl jumped slightly, and looked over to Sayaka. Sayaka motioned her head, tilting her head sideways toward Madoka, then, to Homura's embarrassment, madea small heart shape with her hands. Homura's face turned red, and she quickly looked away, causing Sayaka to quietly giggle.
'So she does like Madoka... I had a feeling... I think I'll talk to her after school.'
