Chapter 1
The Night Before
"I've already told you. I'm going with Dexter. He's dating me,"
Raven said, a frustrated tone in her voice.
"You're clueless Raven! You're absolutely clueless! You know i've loved that boy since I transferred here. You didn't even have to work for him! He just chose you!"
Cupid exclaimed. She was raising her voice to a level Raven wasn't liking.
"It's not a matter of working for the one you date. Dexters liked me. I like him. We are dating. Please except that, Cupid! I thought you were my friend!"
Raven picked up her silver-studded brush and started combing through her silky black hair.
"Fine! Fine, Raven!"
Cupid yelled, exiting Raven and Apple's dorm, slamming the door. The echo shook the paintings on the dorm room walls.
"What the hell is her problem?"
Apple questioned, walking into the door frightened by the sound.
"Who knows. Jealous that Dexter is MINE."
"Well don't rub it in.. I know she doesn't seem aggressive but I heard she gets freaky crazy when people get on her nerves."
Apple said, a warning tone in her voice.
"Oh please. She's a LOVE GODDESS. I'm not scared of her."
Raven continued to comb her hair. She tied it up with an elastic and put her brush down.
"Besides, theres nothing she can really do about it."
