For [72 Hour Speed Comp] Hufflepuff Appreciation Day - Hufflepuff's Only I wrote for Game prompt of Hide and Seek. For Pop Figure Collection I wrote for Daredevil's Nunchucks - (trait) nimble. For Around the World I wrote for Geometric Pattern Boxes prompt of the pairing of Angelina/George. For Birthday Bash I wrote for prompt number 4. dialogue "You know you love me, right?". I hope you all enjoy this little piece of fluff called Hide and Seek.
George Weasley looked down from the tree he'd climbed into and watched as Angelina Johnson searched for him in almost every place she could think of. It had been their children's idea to play hide and seek today. But there was one thing that neither the children or Angelina knew and that was that Fred and George were the masters of hide and seek.
"George Weasley," Angelina called out to him, "if you don't show your face right now I'm giving your piece of treacle tart to Roxanne and Fred." She crossed her arms across her chest a triumphant smile crossing her face.
George laughed quietly to himself as he looked higher up in the branches to find his daughter's shocked face looking back at him. She looked like she was about to climb back down when George motioned her stay.
"Freddie, Roxie," Angelina called, "where are you guys?" She walked away from the base of the tree not knowing that two of the three people she was looking for were hiding up in it's branches.
"Dad," Roxanne said as she moved a piece of long dark auburn hair behind her ear, "what are you doing up here?"
"Hiding," George smirked at the reaction that got from his daughter. Sometimes she acted so much like her mother that it wasn't even funny. But sometimes even Roxanne reminded George of himself and Fred.
"I know that. I just didn't think you'd hi..."
"That's why it's a genius place to hide. That's how your Uncle Fred and I used to win hide and seek all the time when we were younger." He chuckled as memories of many games of hide and seek washed over him.
"So that's your great advice you said you'd tell us during the game?"
George nodded. As he watched Freddie get caught by his mother. The two seemed to be whispering among themselves and George could see the conversation was about them.
"I think your Mum and Freddie are onto us," he told Roxanne as he climbed as nimble as could be after motioning for her to follow him. "Let's see if they can us in the next hiding place."
Unbeknownst to George while he was distracted talking to Roxanne Angelina sneaked up behind him and tapped him on the shoulder. "I found you," she crowed. "You're a right foul git for cheating like that."
"But you know you love me, right?" George asked as he picked her up and gave her kiss.
Angelina giggled as Fred and Roxanne started gagging and telling them to get a room. This was one of the happiest days of Fred's life since before the end of the Second Wizarding World and he wouldn't change a thing.
