He was ready. Draco was ready. He was ready to see her again; to feel her in his arms again. He was going to say it. Draco Malfoy is going to say how much he loves Hermione Granger.

"Where could she be? She's late," Draco whispered as he glanced at his wristwatch.

"Draco, I'm sorry I'm late," a voice behind him said. It was her. Butterflies were beginning to flutter in his stomach. The girl he loved was there and he was going to confess his feelings for her.

He turned around to make sure that it was her. It really is Hermione. But she didn't look like Hermione at all. Her hair was no longer bushy but sleek and shiny, and twisted into an elegant knot at the back of her hair. She was wearing a yellow dress that accentuates her waist.

"Hey," he said. She kissed his cheek as she always did. "How're you? I missed you," she asked.

"How are you?" he returned the question back at her.

"I'm fine," she smiled and brushed her fingers through her hair. "I'm quite ecstatic about seeing you again. It's been months," She smiled again before sitting on the bench.

"Oh," Draco said simply. "Why didn't you tell me?" he said while eyeing the ring on her finger. His fragile little heart was now devastated, he never felt so broken in his life.

"It came all of a sudden," she simply said.

"And what about me Hermione? Us? You're just going to throw it all away just because the Weasel came into the scene?" He shouted. He felt wetness in his eyes. I will not fucking cry in front of Hermione. Not in a million of years.

"Draco, what are you talking about? We're.. we're friends, Draco," she said as tears were rolling down her face.

"Friends? No! Don't pull that bullshit with me! You don't treat friends like this! Snogging? Holding hands? Sex? Come on! Friends my balls!"

"Draco, please.."

"Hermione, I'm here," he said as he took something out of his pocket. "I was going to give this to you. So please Hermione.."

"Draco, don't.. Don't make me choose!" she shouted. It was a good thing they were in somewhere private, the yelling and the shouting was too much.

"Because you'll choose Weaselbee-"

"I'll choose you! I chose you all the time! Don't give up on me just yet," she cried. She was telling the truth. She loved Draco all her life. And seeing her with Astoria broke her heart in a million pieces.

"I never gave up on you, Hermione! I never will. Can't you feel it? I love you, Hermione. I walk as if I'm going to die for you!"

"Just don't.." she said, tears flowing down here face like a waterfall. He hugged her. Hugged her like they were the last person on Earth.

"What happened, Hermione? To us, I mean," he whispered in her ear.

"I just woke up and I knew," she whispered back that make his body shiver.

"Knew what?

"What I was never sure of with you," she hugged him tighter. "But now, I realized that you're all I need and it's too late," she burrowed her face on his shirt.

He kissed the top of her head and let her go. "You should go, Hermione," he smiled.

"Yeah, maybe I should," she rubbed her eyes and smoothed out her dress.

"If the weasel hurts you, leave him. I'm here, Hermione. I won't hurt you,"

"Yeah," she kissed him. No, not the rapid, full of lust one rather the passionate one. Full of emotions. "Well, this is goodbye," she said and smiled. "Unless Ron won't do anything stupid," she laughed.

"Yeah," he laughed. After that, Hermione started walking away.

"Uhm, Hermione!" he shouted. Hermione turned around and smiled at him. "Yes?" she shouted so he can hear her.

" I really do hope you're happy!" he said simply. Hermione smiled and turned around to continue walking.
