Vincent sighed as he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around slowly. "What Cloud?" he asked the spiky-haired blonde.

Cloud moved to stand next to the gunman. "Are you ok?" He asked frowning. "You're quiet."

Vincent raised an eyebrow.

"Well, quieter than normal." Cloud said softly, turning his face away. "So what is wrong?"

Vincent sighed again. "Just thinking." he looked over at Cloud before looking back at the remains of the destroyed town in the valley below. "So we have no idea of who caused this?"

Cloud sighed and shook his head. "Witnesses claim it was a tall man clothed in black. The only other lead we have is this." He reached into a pocket and pulled out a bag with one long strand of silver hair inside. He sighed. "The only people we know with this kind of hair are all dead." he handed the bag to Vincent. "So either one of them is still alive, or someone else who carries the DNA of Sephiroth is wreaking havoc. There were no bodies and no blood, so I doubt it's anyone we knew."

Vincent looked at the bag then handed it back to Cloud. "We'll find out soon." was all he said before he turned around and walked away.

Cloud stood there for a minute longer before walking over to Fenrir and gunning the engine."We'll find the bastard alright." he muttered. "And the people that are missing." He rode off towards Tifa's bar.

Vincent waited until Cloud drove away before he walked down the hill into the town below. 'No blood, no bodies, and only a few witnesses. What is going on?' he thought to himself.

He searched the ruins for hours, finding nothing to indicate who did this. He arrived at the last house and opened the door. He walked inside and saw that most of the house was intact, including the stairs. He walked from room to room noticing that this house wasn't nearly as destroyed as the others. He searched all of the downstairs rooms and finding nothing he went upstairs. He walked over to the only door and opened it slowly, Cerberus ready at his side. He pushed it open and stepped inside quickly, his eyes widening at the sight that awaited him.
