A/N: A friend of mine wanted some GA/MM so I obliged, and boy was it fun thinking of ideas once I settled on this. *laughs*
"Rena, we've been doing this for almost an hour now! I think we should stop trying!" Mastermind panted, little beads of sweat running down face.
"Add…" The Grand Archer placed her hands on his shoulders, a reassuring smile gracing her face, "I know you can do it… You can trust me."
Add rolled his eyes, and with a light sigh escaping from his lips, he was ready for another attempt.
"Here," Rena pushed her body up against Add's, her curves a perfect fit as she rested her arms on top of his. "Let me guide you..."
He flinched at her touch, but determination once again burned in his eyes. "So… I do it… like this?"
"No, no, that won't work… You have to go further." She watched him carefully inch his hands towards the right position, "Further… Further… Stop! You're in the perfect spot." She quickly adjusted his stance. "An arched back, head straight up, eyes locked on the target… Now shoot!"
The bow was drawn back perfectly; Add let the arrow fly, a fast trailing whistle left behind as it pierced the wind leaving the bow. They watched it close the hundred feet distance between them and the makeshift target.
"A bullseye!" Rena threw her arms in the arm to rejoice the moment; the arrow flew with such accuracy that it was as though the Grand Archer shot it herself…
"I did it…" Rena could have sworn he was about to smile a genuine smile, but it faded to his usual smirk. "Tch. I knew I could do it." He wiped the sweat off his brow and looked at the sun high in the sky beating down on them, enveloping the open field with intense heat. "I'm heading back; I have to go take off this damn armor, it's drenched."
He turned to leave but Rena stopped him, giving him a little kiss on the cheek that sent a wave of red blush through his face. "Well done!"
Add could said nothing as he began to suddenly rush back, mumbling under his breath as the blush remained.
OoOoOoO
"How did Add's first archery lesson go, Rena?" The young Elemental Master asked, floating a book over to her tidy desk without a second thought.
"Ah…" Rena timidly raised a hand to the back of her head. "A little homing magic put into the arrow would hurt his ego if I told him, wouldn't it?"
