It's the flip side of the coin - sort of. Companion piece/sequal to Rain. Better read that first.

It was a bright and sunny day in Camelot. There was a gentle breeze blowing through the city and the birds were chirping gaily as people passed them by. All in all it was a gorgeous day to be out and about. Nothing was going to ruin his day out.

A loud explosion blasted through the air. He spoke to soon. Alarms were being sounded as people ran for cover. Apparently, according to the panicked people passing him, an army had been hidden by magic and was now attacking the walls and the city itself. He ran toward the walls to find out just what exactly Camelot was facing.

As he ran he looked to the sky. At any other attack this would be when the clouds, already gathered overhead, would begin to pour out their load on the defenders and attacking army. There wasn't a cloud in sight. Perhaps this time he'd be lucky enough to finish the day in dry clothes.

An explosion nearby him knocked him off his feet. As he sat momentarily stunned, a spray of water rained down on him. He looked up somewhat dazed at the clear sky above him. Still no clouds were present there. He looked off to the side to site of the explosion that had knocked him over. A destroyed bunch of rain barrels greeted him. So much for him having dry clothing this once.

I use spell check and look the stories over. As soon as I post them I find errors to fix, go figure...
