Snowballs and Surprise Visits
Katie trudged through the snow, walking to her car, barely listening to her friends' conversation. It was the first day back from Winter Break, and she'd spent the break at Camp. Her father had ordered that she spend the school year with him in Colorado, and she was miserable.
Last summer, she'd finally kissed Travis Stoll, and they'd become an item. The rest of the summer was bliss, and when she left for Colorado in September, she was miserable again. They had three short weeks for their vacation, then Katie left again.
Felicity snapped her fingers in front of her friend's face, "Katie? You home?"
Katie shook her head, breaking free of her daze, "Oh, yeah, sorry."
Amber turned to her, "So, what'd you do over break?"
A small smile formed on her face, "I went back to camp. Saw Travis, hung out with my friends. It was great."
Felicity was a bit confused, "Travis? He's your boyfriend, right?"
Katie was about to answer, when a snowball hit her in the back. She grit her teeth, and turned to face her attacker.
Standing there, clad in jeans and a winter coat, was her boyfriend, Travis Stoll.
Katie forgot all about the snowball, and tackled him straight to the ground.
Laughing Travis kissed her, mumbling, "I saw you a couple of days ago..."
Katie smiled against her boyfriend's lips, "I know... I just missed you."
Grinning, Travis stood up, pulling Katie up as well.
She skipped over to her friends, holding Travis' hand,
"'Licity, Amber, meet Travis Stoll, my boyfriend."
A/N: TRATIE:) So.. this was random, right? Anyways, I go back to school tomorrow, so you won't be seeing me as often. Boo. But, I'll still be publishing SOMETHING at least every couple of days.
