This is my first ever fic, so it's not that great and kinda short.
DISCLAIMER: I do not own Harry Potter.

Lily Luna was laughing so hard next to me, I thought she would start to hyperventilate.

Gasping and spluttering, her arms still firmly wrapped around my waist, I dragged her out of the deep snow she'd walked into, not realising there was a ditch. She let go of me with one hand to brush the snow off her hair, and fell headfirst again.

'Scor!' she yelled, muffled, still face down. Her red hair was splayed out like a red sun. I laughed and pulled her back up and she wiped her face down, linking her fingers with mine.

'You have got to be the most annoying person ever.' She told me, scuffling her feet. Lily looked real nice today- like she usually does, but she looked, well, nicer. Her eyes were even more sparkly and her hair, a cute shade of auburn, was all tousled.

Lily was grinning at me, and I thought, maybe this was the time to tell her that I like her, I really, really like her. Snow draped her long eyelashes, and she blinked. Her eyes were really amazing- a deep piercing blue with little flecks of…Grey? Green?

But then her expression changed, the moment was gone and she dropped my hands and began to fuss with her hair, tugging her scarf around her shoulders.

'Do I look ok, Scor?' she asked me.

You look pretty damn hot. I had the urge to say. But I didn't.

'Why?'

'Lysander's coming over this way. We're only on our sixth date you know, and I have to look nice or he won't like me.'

You have got to be the blindest person I know. Lysander Scamander is not good enough for you, and you are bloody beautiful.

Yeah, I said that in my head. So no-one heard me.

'You look great.' I assured her. It was worth the hurt to see the smile on her face.

'Thanks. Scor. Say hi to Albus for me, and I'll see you in the common room tonight, K?' she was already walking away, her shoes crunching in the snow.

I nodded and grimaced as Lysander Scamander came behind her and wrapped his arms around Lily's tiny waist. She squealed and spun around to kiss him, throwing her arms round his neck, the wind pushing her hair like fiery silk.

I slouched back to the Three Broomsticks to meet Albus, kicking at some ice, I'd forgotten all about Lysander Scamander until then. And it didn't help that the non-single Lily Luna Potter was just the most perfect thing to ever walk into my life.

But I would always have to let her go.

Just a little fluff. Please please review. It makes me happy.
