Here is is, my first oneshot; The first story of mine ever able to be told in such a short space.
Possibly a paring, but only definitely Elena's crush on Tseng.

Enjoy!

Terrorists don't have to follow the building code

Tseng turned to Elena as they walked through the cat-walk second level of a small room in an underground warehouse. "From here we must remain silent, and refrain from alerting them to our presence," he informed her.

She nodded, eyes wide, carefully keeping her mouth shut.

The senior Turk focused his attention back on their path, wary of traps and guards. He was not expecting the slow moan of metal as he stepped towards the end of the catwalk, and was taken by surprise when the catwalk slid and swung downward.

Stumbling forward as the end bounced on the ground, he managed to right himself once his feet met stationary stone. Still startled, he instinctively threw up his hands to defend against the shadow descending upon him, and…

...

When his mind caught up with him, he and Elena were staring at each other in shock. Tseng blinked at her, and realized, belatedly, that he was holding her bridal style.

Elena blushed a moment later, realizing the same thing.

They both looked away from one another hurriedly, and Tseng bowed over, lowering Elena's feet carefully down to the floor before releasing her. Then he turned and started towards the ground level door. "We will have to be more careful now; continuing on the assumption that they heard that." He turned back to Elena to check that she had heard, his composure fully restored.

Elena nodded quickly, and Tseng started off down the passageway. She fell into step behind him, still blushing furiously.

And the mission continued like it had never happened.
