Disclaimer: None of its mine...if only...sigh...the song is by Josh Groban, called So She Dances:

The pairing can be made to fit whoever you want it too, originally it was Kel and Dom, but I figured it would work for every one!! Very short, but very sweet and sentimental!

A waltz when she walks in the room
She pulls back the hair from her face
She turns to the window to sway in the moonlight
Even her shadow has grace
A waltz for the girl out of reach
She lifts her hands up to the sky
She moves with the music
The song is her lover
The melody's making her cry
So she dances
In and out of the crowd like a glance
This romance is
From afar calling me silently

And I'm givin' up this view just to tell her

A waltz for the chance I should take
But how will I know where to start?
She's spinning between constellations and dreams
Her rhythm is my beating heart

So she dances
In and out of the crowd like a glance
This romance is
From afar calling me silently

I can't keep on watching forever
I give up this view just to tell her

When I close my eyes I can see
The spotlights are bright on you and me
We've got the floor
And you're in my arms
How could I ask for more?

So she dances
In and out of the crowd like a glance
This romance is
From afar calling me silently

I can't keep on watching forever

SO SHE DANCES:

As she walked in the room resplendent in a green dress, that showed off her figure to the best advantage. She walked down the staircase, as regal as any queen; it was all I could do to not go to her and sweep her up in my arms. When she gets to the bottom she is approached by her friends who have never seen her look so elegant and they take her and dance, and here she shows off her other skills, skills that many believe she has never had…

I've never seen her so carefree, so happy, and even as she sits a number out you can see her still swaying in rhythm with the music, and then she dances the waltz, slow and elegant, silently showing all the emotions you never see in her face. As for me I had the perfect view to see her dancing, to see her smiling, laughing, and brushing that one piece of hair back to her face.

I can't stand over here watching anymore. I clear the floor and ask her to dance and as she curtsies and I bow the musician's start another waltz, and as I hold her close I know that she's not mine. But the expression in her eyes as she looks up at me makes my stomach clench with nerves. I knew that I shouldn't ask for more, but I couldn't help myself. It was like we were all alone dancing, all I saw, all I knew was her, and the love I had always cherished.

"I Love You" I said and her eyes grew wide, and they were shining bright as she sighed and said, " I know" and I held her close and from that dance we were inseparable. And she was everything I had ever wanted…

And yes, I do like cheesy romance, I can't help it!
