Amy laid there lifeless with steady breathing, Ty grasped Amy's hand. The sound of the cardiac monitor in the background.
"come on Amy, you need to get better everyone's worried and spartan hasn't eaten right in days" he whispered.
She had been in the hospital for a week now in a coma, which she should get out of any time now, but still has the risk of temporary blindness.
"The horse kick really did some damage then huh ty?" Caleb's voice travelled through the open door as he was gazing straight at her.
"Yeah, her arms and legs are okay, just the eyesight." Ty replied.
"Do you know what happened?" Caleb questioned.
Ty sighed "Not much but she got a text supposedly from the highness himself, Ahmed and she went down to the stables apparently someone had let all of his horses out of the stables and by the sounds of it there was a horse fight and Amy got in the middle of it and the next minute Ahmed found her on the floor on conscious."
"Sounds bad" Caleb sat down in the opposite chair to Ty across the bed.
Few minutes Ty's mouth was curved up in the corner almost like he was smiling slightly as he was gazing at her and brushing her soft dark blonde hair, tucking it behind her ear.
"What are you smiling at?" Caleb looked puzzled.
"Remembering the first time I met her when I drove past her so fast and she got so mad at me and galloped straight up to me and had a go, I was a jerk back then" he gave a slight laugh.
2 hours later
Caleb had gone to grab a coffee and ring Lou, as he promised her to keep everyone updated. Ty Lou hadn't moved an inch. He was watching how peaceful she looked just laid there.
As he was day-dreaming one of Amy's fingers had twitched in Ty's hand which he had tucked into his chest with his hand in hers. Ty stopped still as if he was a deer in headlights. He gently placed Amy's hand down on the bed and hopped up and shot to the door.
"NURSE!" he shouted.
One nurse stormed in. Ty explained how her one of her fingers had twitched and he was hoping it was another improvement.
"Look sir, I know you're worried but she will occ-"
"Ty? Ty? Are you there?" a faint exhausted voice in the background silenced the room.
