OH YEAH! I. AM. BACK! What's up? I've graduated.
So it's been years since I've last posted a fic! Oh, I miss FF so much! That feeling when I open my inbox, and see messages from FF, reviews, favs and alerts. Oh, that was the best feeling ever.
So I suffered from writer's block all these years. That's why I didn't post any fic. D: Let me tell you something, writer's block is baaaaaaaaaaad for. It drained my creative juice away. I'm sad and depressed about this. After skimming through the riddles book (for kids), I finally found an idea! So, enjoy!
Apples
Ever since Uchiha Sasuke was a kid, he had always hated apples. Here's why. His mother would always come back with a basket of apples when she went back from her friend's house, Haruno Kasumi. So, one day, after he returned from the academy, he rushed straight to the kitchen to see his mother.
When he didn't find her, he noticed a bowl of apples on the kitchen counter and grabbed one, then proceeding to find his mother in the household. He took the first bite out of the apple and felt something, like sticky liquid. He looked at the apple and started wailing.
All of the Uchihas came to Sasuke's side to see what had made the youngest Uchiha to cry. When Itachi first came to the scene, he chuckled. Mikoto and Fugaku came next, and comforted Sasuke. Mikoto took him to the bathroom to clean him up and gave him a glass of warm milk to calm him down.
To this date, everyone in the Uchiha family knew how the strong and mighty Uchiha Sasuke had lost his first baby tooth.
That was the first and the last time he ate apples. Not anyone, not even his mother, could make him eat apples again. No matter how nutritious or good for health the apples are, he would never ever eat anything apple related, be it fruit, ice cream, juice or even tea. Nope. Nada. No one, nothing.
Now the twenty-two years old Uchiha Sasuke pondered how ironic it was that his pink-haired teammate, best friend and girlfriend loved apples so much. He had always thought that Sakura was the type of girl that would like strawberries or cherries.
"Oh, come on, Sasuke-kun! Just one bite!" Sakura pleaded.
"No." Sasuke flatly refused.
"It won't hurt this time! Oh, Kami-sama! You're twenty-two years old now! You don't have any baby teeth!"
Ah, yes, besides his family, Sakura was the only one who knew the reason why he hated apples so much.
"Look! I even cut the apple into small pieces! Now, eat, damnit! I have other patients to attend to!"
Sasuke scowled. "You're my doctor, not theirs."
Sakura sighed and put down the plate of apples she was currently holding. "Only when you're severely injured from missions, not from sparring. You're in ANBU, in the same league as Neji, Kakashi and Naru-"
"Don't even compare me to the dobe."
Sakura glared at him. "And Naruto. You completed many S-ranked missions and why, pray tell, do you still hate apples?"
Sasuke smirked and pulled her in for a kiss.
"An apple a day keeps the doctor away."
OWARI
Yeahhh it's short. But, hey, I've tried my best! I need to get my creative juice back! I have another idea for another fic, but I'm saving that for later. At least, until I get my own laptop. Heh.
How was it? :D
Please review! Have some pity on this girl, she's suffered enough from writer's block, school and lack of adventures. SHE NEEDS REVIEWS TO SPICE UP HER DULL, BORING LIFE.
