01. Chocolate
Words: 100

There was nothing D liked better than having some chocolate over tea.

Of course, Leon would never understand, because he was never particularly fond of sweets to begin with.

Speaking of the detective, D thought that if Leon were a sweet, he would be a chocolate. Chocolates always had that bittersweet taste- just how the detective's kisses tasted like. A little bit of warmth, and how they seemed to melt in his mouth- it was all too much to describe.

Best of all, chocolates left him with that tempting desire for more. One was never enough.

Same with Leon's kisses.

02. Hands
Words: 100

Leon can't help noticing how smooth and flawless D's hands are. Almost like porcelain, they look quite fragile.

On the other hand, Leon's hands are rough and calloused from all those missions- the sort of things D would never do.

"D, how the hell did you have such beautiful hands?" he asks incredulously.

But the Count, ever the modest one, says nothing of it. And when their hands clasp tightly, it doesn't matter how smooth or rough their hands are, as long as they stay that way, intertwined together.

Sometimes, it's moments like these when the trivial things don't matter.

03. Save Your Last Dance for Me
Words: 136

"D, I never knew you could dance this well. I mean, I can't even dance to save my own life."

"Is that so, my dear detective? I'm flattered."

"But isn't the music a little too slow?"

"Ah, but I think it suits the mood perfectly. Slow... and sensual." D licked his lips. "Just the way I like it."

Leon said nothing. D was right; he was getting the hang of it now.

"Did you know that some people say that the things you do in life are like a series of slow dances? So you have to take things slowly." It was typical of D to get philosophical and deep at times.

"Really?" Silence.

Then, Leon added, "In that case then... as cheesy as it sounds, I want you to save your last dance for me."

Author's Notes: My first "Pet Shop of Horrors" fic ever! Please be nice and leave a review. Constructive criticism would be much appreciated, especially since I'm only 15 and have a long way to go until I become a better writer.
