Days Go By
Chapter One:
SURPRISE!
Well here it is .I hope you like it.
"Come on Spindle", Amy said urging her 4-year-old red roan into a trot,
"Hey wait for me",Ty Baldwin the head stable hand and her longtime boyfriend said as he trotted up next to her on Libby.The 18-year-old grey mare trotted calmly next to a very hyper Spindle.
"So are we still on for the movies tonight?", Ty asked.
"Huh oh ya of course", Amy said back. She had been thinking about how happy she was to be back on the trails at Heartland with the horses and Ty and Grandpa. She had finished Vet school two weeks earlier ad was very happy to be home.
"You okay?", Ty asked.
"Ya just thinking", Amy said back smiling at him.
As they approached the yard Amy saw a car in the driveway and realized it was Soraya's car. When she saw her friend run out of the barn she dismounted and threw her reins to Ty before running towards her best friend.
"AMY!", Soraya yelled at the sight of her best friend.
"SORAYA!", Amy yelled at the same time as Soraya.As the two friends hugged Ty laughed at their happy reactions.
"Did you know about this?", Amy asked turning toward Ty.
"Yeh. I took you on a trail ride so it would be more of a surprise", Ty said smiling.
"Well I was surprised!", Amy said laughing. Soraya and Amy quickly put Spindleberry away and headed up to the house to talk.
