Of Poseidon Chapter 4
The next morning, Nalia meets everyone on the boardwalk and discuss their plan. "When we get there, distract the Archives so I can find my father, got it Galen and Emma?" Nalia asked. "Absolutely," Emma and Galen replied, unanimously. When they got to the Poseidon Territory, Galen and Emma distracted the Archives while Nalia and Rayna searched for King Antonis. When they found King Antonis, Galen and Emma joined them. "Emma!" Antonis said to her excitedly. "How you've grown so beautiful like your mother." "Thanks, Grandfather." Emma replied politely. "It's so good to see you again. How have the Underwater Kingdoms been?" Emma had asked. "Oh alright I guess. Jagen is convinced that his daughter, Paca, has the Gift of Poseidon. But I remember the Gift well. It was meant to feed us. She says it only works with dolphins." He told her. "Outrageous!" Galen says. "Emma has the true Gift of Poseidon. She tried to stop a shark from killing her best friend but it wouldn't listen. She also told off a jellyfish and a stingray." Galen said. "Well, we must hold a Tribunal at once!" Antonis announced.
When the Tribunal began, Galen and Rayna sat with the Triton Territory and Nalia and Emma sat with the Poseidon Territory. The Archives sat in the middle. "Paca, my dear, you know what to do," Jagen told his daughter. Paca signaled the dolphins near. She always kept them close if anyone asked for a demonstration. She learned how to train dolphins. "As you can very well see, my dear Paca, has the true Gift of Poseidon." Jagen told the Archives. Grom interrupted. "But the Gift of Poseidon was supposed to feed us. We can't eat dolphins. There are very few and we will not survive." "The Gift only works on dolphins, Grom" Paca told him. "I object" Emma shouted. She came to the middle of the Tribunal with a wall of fish including a few breeds of sharks. "I actually have the true Gift of Poseidon. I will need a volunteer and that volunteer will choose any of the fish I have here and I can tell them to do whatever I want them to." Emma pointed at a fingerling. "You. Pick any fish, including the sharks and I will tell that fish what to do." Emma instructed the girl. "I guess I'll go with the Tiger sharks." The girl pointed. "Very well. I can tell these sharks to rip Jagen apart, limb by limb. Or I can tell them to go get food. Pick any order and I will tell them and they will do it." "I would like to see them rip Jagen apart" the girl finally decided. "Smashing idea. Shall we?" Emma told the sharks to tear Jagen apart. "If Jagen surrenders now, I will call them off." Emma said. "I will never surrender!" Jagen shouted. Then, out of the blue, he swam as fast as he could, but the tiger sharks were too fast. "Okay, I give. I GIVE!" Jagen shouted. Emma told them to back off.
