PROLOGUE -(please have this playing in the background; watch?v=sG8gpHbgNLQ -not mine)
Biaracrown paced over and back on the ground of her home, on the planet Clom. She was so upset. She was teased in school today for not being fully blooded Azorboloff and her only comfort was her poetry in her diary. She wrote metaphors about her dead mother, her mother being symbolised by different objects, mainly buttons. To Biaracrown, buttons symbolised holding things together, like her mother should have done.
'Button, Oh, Button.
Oh where hast thou fled?
Did thee tarry too long amongst fabric and thread?
Did thee roll off my bosom and cease to exist?
Oh,
How I wish I could follow thee into the midst.'
Biaracrown sobbed into her diary, reading her button poetry as she grieved over the loss of her Slitheen mother. She just wanted to fit in! Her father slaved away, day after day in the Clom mines, absorbing coal and diamonds to feed the family and to be able to make her a special birthday present - a coin purse, with no buttons.
She grabbed the Coin Purse. She vowed, in a moment of pure rage, that no buttons, nor no memory of buttons will ever exist while she has the power.
But she had no power.
She was a mixed breed, Slitheen and Azorboloff. She inherited only the Slitheen power of being able to wear people as clothes. She just wanted to absorb things. She wanted to absorb the whole world to numb her pain. She knew she had a chronic problem and needed an outlet-or an inlet.
The Coin Purse was a special purse indeed. It was specially designed out of Azorboloff skin, carved from the enemies of the king, King Tumericajon. It had special absorbing qualities, and Biaracrown, on this monumental Clom Spring day, decided she would absorb any button-wearing beings she came across in her travels of the galaxy and keep them trapped inside the Coin Purse for all eternity.
First destination - Earth.
