With You

You don't have to work yourself to the bone

Just to collapse in a chair when you get home.

We'll play hooky sometimes just to let off some steam

'Cause you know if we don't we'll start to scream.

And were bound to fight once in a while,

We'll argue, and bicker, and I'll act like a child

But then we'll think of how silly we've been

We'll apologize and make-up and promise never to do it again.

We'll dance when there's no music in the middle on the night

There, by the window, where the moonlight shines bright.

You can go out with the boys and stay out late

As long as we have some time alone and make a 'dinner date'.

We'll sit and talk about baby names,

Things we've done and when we'll need walking canes.

We'll picnic when its winter when the grounds covered with snow

Bundled up in every piece of clothing that we own.

We'll take care of each other when the other is ill

I'll make you soup and tea and you can make me, well…

We won't talk about that now, we'll just sit right here

You, me, together, near

Just thinking about the rest of our lives together

In all four seasons, good or bad weather.

Yeah, that's what it'd be like,

With you.
