In a room at CONTROL, a judo class was underway. Agents in traditional white outfits were sparring against each other.
The Chief came in with 99. She was dressed in white, but he had on a grew suit.
"Excuse me a moment," he called out. The others stopped what they were doing. "This is our newest agent 99."
They bowed, and she bowed back.
"She is a student of judo. Would anybody like to challenge her?"
Maxwell Smart walked up to her. "I'll challenge you."
They faced each other and bowed. The others gathered around them.
"Don't worry," he said, "I'll be gentle."
They began. However, in just a few seconds, he was down at 99's bare feet!
He got up. "Er, beginner's luck! How about another match?"
They faced each other and bowed.
This match was longer, and Max fought harder. However, in less than a minute, he was once again down at her bare feet!
He got up. "You're pretty good!"
A redheaded girl approached 99. "I'd like to challenge you, honey."
They faced each other, bowed, and begun.
This match was even longer. The girl was good, and 99 head to fight hard. But in the end, it was her who ended up at the redhead's bare feet!
Max took the Chief aside. "Say, Chief, you know that suspected double agent in our ranks?"
"Yes, Max?"
"Isn't he said to be an expert in judo?"
"Why, yes. Max, do you suspect that Agent 73 might be. . ."
"We shall soon find out!" He approached the girl. "Agent 73, I arrest you as a suspected agent of KAOS!"
She immediately pulled out a gun from a pocket in her pants. But Max was quick; he snatched it away from her. They began fighting. They used several techniques other than judo, including fist fighting.
In the end, it was 73 down at Max's bare feet!
"Great work, Max!," said the Chief.
"Thanks, Chief." He then went over to 99. "Are you all right?"
"Yes, Mr Smart. Thanks."
"Please call me Max."
