New Years Day
Standing outside of Bra'tacs house Jack watched as the stars smiled down at him. It was new years night, 11:49pm and he was off world for another day. He should have been at home at this time curled up on the couch with Sam in his arms taking back a cold beer. Instead h was stuck on chu'lak getting information about Ba'al that he didn't even care about at the time.
"Hey" Turning around he smiled softly as Sam took hold of his arm "What are you doing outside at this time?"
"It's new years eve. I'm always up late, usually with just you"
"I know. Blame the general for this one…wait…you are the general now" she smirked
"Oh shut up you" he laughed "I thought it would be over by now. I thought I would be in a nice comfortable bed right now with you in my arms na…" he soon found her finger on his lips.
"There are others here Jack" She Laughed "Keep that to yourself"
"Fine…But It's not as much fun" Wrapping his arms around her waist he smiled softly as they kissed "I love you"
"I love you too Babes"
"Hey, are you two coming into the house any time soon?" Jack looked up at his best friend with a smirk "I'll take that as a no"
"Good boy Danny. Now leave" Nodding Daniel smiled before heading back into the house, while Dragging Teal'c in with him. "Sneaks"
"You know it" Sam kissed her husband once more softly "Should we go inside?"
"No way. They'll just bug us. It's New Years Eve. If I can't have the fireworks Im at least going to have you alone for a while" They both laughed softly "I just want to hold onto you for a while longer. Alright?"
"Alright Hun" They kissed once more as Jack held onto her softly "We'll go inside at 12"
"Five minutes? That's all?" He wined "aww Sam"
"Alright, A bit after. Then…maybe bed time" She smirked "Like?"
"I really like" both of them laughed softly before kissing once more. Holding onto his wives hands Jack continued to kiss her passionately before she pulled away "Sam?" her eyes seemed to wonder to the sky "Sam? You alright Babes?"
"It's beautiful" Jack raised an eyebrow gently "The sky Jack, Look at the sky" He turned around gently and looked up at the sky. His jaw soon fell to the floor. "looks like you got your fireworks"
Right in front of them blasts of color covered the sky Just as if they were on earth, and before long everyone else was outside with them "I love new years eve" he smiled softly before looking at his watch "One minute"
"Then lets Make it worth while" smiling he kissed his wife softly just as the clock struck twelve and the others laughed at them as if they were all school kids once again. Teal'c and bra'tac both smiled remembering the times when they had hoped for Sam and
Jack to get together and end everyone's suffering of having to hear Jack talk about Sam for 5 hours. And Sam talking about Jack for 12 Hours with a little techno Babble mixed in with it all.
"I love you" he whispered once they pulled away "and don't ever forget that"
"I won't" she promised softly before they kissed once more
"Get a room" Daniel wined, only to receive Jacks foot in his groin
"That's for later" Sam cooed, nibbling on Jacks ear as the colors faded "Happy new year Babe"
"Happy new year to you too, Hottie" They looked at each others eyes softly as they smiled, never wanting to let go of this moment in their life. Jack O'Neill loved New Years Day. Not only because of the celebration and the getting drunk, but also because it was his and Sam's fifth wedding anniversary.
