A/N set in 'Mad Dog' (book 2), When Wes comes back from trying to visit her mother Dakota interrogates him this is what I think should have happened next. Oh and everyone knows that Wes's mother forgot him.

Mad dog's POV
I can't believe this I am sitting here outraged at everything and she tells me that I'm not taking care of Rex so what if he doesn't get all the attention from me for once can't they all understand that I just want to be left alone.
Suddenly I hear a light tap on my door. Great I thought to myself more people to annoy me. But I get up and answer it anyway.
"Hi Kat," I said trying to smile; apparently it didn't work on her.
"She was only trying to get though to you, you really should spend more time with Rex."
"Uh... what?"
"Dakota. She was trying to help you!" She almost screamed at me. I could fell anger welling up inside of me I had never gotten angry with Kat before.
"Oh yeah, how would she know what I'm going though? How would she know what it felt like to have her mother not even want to see her not even bothering to remember her?" I yelled. I thought Kat would retaliate but instead she just stormed off into Dakota's room. What did I care no one knew what I was going though so why should I care?
Just as I sat down on my bed ready to sulk again an angry cat stormed in followed by an even angrier Dakota.
"I can't believe you Kat. You told him I thought you said you would keep it a secret." Dakota yelled at Kat.
Kat just ignored her and turned to me, "Ok you say Dakota has no right to yell at you about your mother? You say that no one knows what you're going though well she does," Kat said simply, "and if you want to know more meet us in the hay loft at 9pm ok?" With that she left followed by an even angrier Dakota. Okay... well that was weird I decided to go anyway out of curiosity and to get my mind off mom.
