Stark Mansion. 11 a.m.
Pepper Potts was angry. The sound of her heels echoed in the corridor. Every people who knew her also knew that she was patient and not impulsive. There was only one person who could get her into such a state.
"JARVIS, where is Tony?"
The tone of her voice indicated that she didn't want to loose time, so the AI answered quickly.
"He is in the bathroom of the second floor, Miss Potts."
In the bathroom? He missed three meetings this morning, just to get dolled up? She ran to the second floor, and she violently pushed open the door of the bathroom.
"Tony! Are you kidding me?" No answer.
Steam was filling the room, and it was hot. She tried to fan herself with her notebook. Obviously, Tony Stark was not saving hot water. He appeared, a towel around his waist. Anything else than a towel. Of course, it wasn't the first time she saw him half naked (she was his PA for years after all), however, she couldn't help but look at his body. He was thin but muscular, the Arc reactor was shining on his chest, and she thought how enjoyable it could be to be embraced by such strong arms. A water drop was running on his elbow. But she had to pull herself together.
"Have you no shame?"
He seemed surprised, and he looked at his reflection in the mirror.
"I don't think that I should be ashamed."
"This is not funny, Tony."
"Oh, c'mon Pep, don't be so virtuous. That's annoying."
"I'm serious, you cancelled three meetings this morning, you didn't tell why, and you didn't inform me of it."
Her face was as red as her hair. He rolled his eyes.
"Ok, ok, give me just five minutes to dress up, and I'll explain everything."
Pepper glanced at him, but she didn't move.
"Huh, Potts, can you wait me out of this room, please?"
Pepper seemed to realise that maybe he needed to be alone to dress up, she turned on her heels and walked away. Just before closing the door, she looked one more time at her boss, he was turning his back on her, and the towel had disappeared.
She blushed.
THE END.
