I was getting out of there. I was happy too. My relationship with him gave finally taken a toll on me and I finally had enough of him. We broke up today, he begged me not to go but I didn't listen. Why would I stay with a guy who doesn't even acknowledge me when we're in public? I packed my bags and left out the apartment that we shared together. Good riddance is what I told him.

She's gone, gone out my life and it's all my fault. If I would have just spent a little more time with her, asked her about her day, she would not be gone. I begged her not to go, I, Paul actually begged someone not to go. If it was any other girl I would be see ya later, but not her, anyone but Bella. I love her and I always will. She's the one person in my life that keeps me grounded and without her, I just don't know. I couldn't let her go. I raced after her in an attempt to get her to come back. She was halfway down the block when I caught up to her.

"Bella." I gasped for air. "Don't go, please don't go."

She gave me that look that she would give people who disobeyed her. But I didn't. I love her.

"Why shouldn't I? You don't care for me. It's obvious."

"I know that I haven't paid much attention to you, but I promise babe, this time it's different."

"No Paul, you said that so many times before and it's the same thing every time. You'll never change."

"This time I mean it, Bells, please don't go."

She looked at me one last time before turning and leaving. After all that, she left. Still.

A short little drabble about Paul and Bella. Even though I dislike Bella, I couldn't resist this story.
