Dystopian Dan and Phil fic. Might be a one shot, depends on the feedback. The whole thing is in Phil's POV.

The year is 2015. It's been six months since the government had made imperfection illegal. All those with any imperfections were given a date. The date would be two years away. The imperfect person would have to fix their imperfections or face a life sentence- or even death. You may be thinking that this pounds silly, who could define a define imperfection? Well, turns out the Government can. The Government's idea of imperfection was anyone with a different mindset to everyone else. Like me and Dan for example. Or should I say, Dan and I. Turns out bad grammar is an imperfection too. Just like how innocence or acting childish after the age of 18 is. Dan's been reminding me to swear more.
Dan and I got our date's just over a year ago. We still have 11 months to change ourselves. We're trying. We've lost a lot of subscribers due to the boringness of our videos. Even I think they're boring. There's nothing funny about someone sitting in front of a camera, explaining in perfect grammar, the recent events of their lives. No jokes, no puns, no masks, no wigs. No comedy.
I'm trying to become perfect but it's too hard. I forget how to spell perfectly, I don't swear enough, I laugh really loudly, I tell jokes whenever I can and I can't stop being imperfect. But Dan's not finding it any easier. He swears too much, he makes mistakes with his grammar on the radio show, he 's even become more shy than he was when he was younger. We've barely changed in the last 13 months. Crap.
