It's All My Fault
Danny walks into the house and looks out onto the street. His wife and kids went to the grocery store and then to get ice cream. If only he hadn't told Gary to get the book. The book that had his grandfather's name in it. The book not only had his grandfather's name, butt had many other people's names in it too. He had found out about the book and his Grandfather's name in it and confronted him with it.
He couldn't believe that his Grandpa had one that. He was a cop and yet he had been in that book. Would he have done that? He knew for a fact that he would not have been caught in that mess when he knew it could come back to me in the future.
It was his fault that Gary had died. He had asked Gary to go back and get the book and he didn't really want to do it, but he had forced him to go. He had forced him to go get the book, so that his grandpa wouldn't get found out.
If the book would of gotten into any cops hands not only would his grandpa get into trouble, but also so would his father and he couldn't have that. After leaving the house after the confrontation he had known right then that he had to do anything to keep them both safe.
He had gone into the Church and talked to the father. He had told him everything, but still there was the guilt because it was his fault that Gary had died.
