Chapter#1: What Professor Curio discovered
It was just another day in Cappytown, and Professor Curio was looking for some ancient artifacts. Then, Professor Curio was surprised to find an ancient-looking book. He read it and discovered that he could read it; the book had writing in it similar to the writing of a kindergartener, with a few of the words in the writing miss-spelled. The writing was in the same language as the writing that the Cappies wrote in, and written the form of journal writing; it was as though it was a journal from a young cappy!
Although Professor Curio was not totally write about who owned the journal, he was right about one thing….it had been written by a child…who was no longer a child anymore…this is the story the journal told.
Chapter#2: The Runaway"But mom…why can't we have more to eat? Why are we ALWAYS eating bread?" asked Damian "Because, this is all the food we can afford for…a couple of weeks." said his mother. "What?! I thought we were supposed to get a loaf a week…what happened?" Damian asked, surprised. "Our money is running out Damian…you know that." His mother replied. "Why do we have to live this way? Why are we poor?!" Damian asked, tears of anger streaming down his face. "This is because of the war…your father and I couldn't fight all of those monsters…because of them, your father is no longer around, and we have to do what we can to survive. I hope that those monsters leave soon…until then we have to continue to live this way." Damian's mother told him.
Later that night, Damian awoke…his stomach was growling. Damian decided that he could not survive like this any longer…so he ran away from home.
Chapter#2: Damian enters CappytownTwo days later, Damian (Who was 5 years old at the time), found his way into Cappytown. At this time Mabel was only about 10, along with most of the Cappies that were there at the time who are now adults. Since King DDD was NOT the king yet (a Cappie named King Monoto, ruled then…he was 15 at the time), Damian spent five years in Cappie town and went to school there too.
Chapter#3: Damian's VictoryDamian was bullied a lot at school, and none of the Cappies (except Mabel) took care of him. He was bullied by many of the other Cappies, and had even been called ugly. Eventually, Damian fell in love with Mabel. One day, when Mabel's friend, Monoto, called Damian a weirdo, Damian fought back. It was recess, and when Mabel saw Damian and Monoto fighting she begged for them to stop…but it did not work (Damian was 10 and Monoto was 20). Damian stole Monoto's hammer and threw him up into the sky with it. No one ever saw Monoto again, but after Damian kicked him out of town, he was hit on the head with the hammer he had just used.
Chapter#4: Mabel's WordsMabel wrote in this journal after this had happened. Damian had been unconscious for months, and when he finally did wake up, he had no memory of anything except these few things: He remembered becoming King, and he also remembered his mom. He remembered how to talk and walk…but he no longer remembered his name…and neither did anyone else. "Now, Instead of King Damian, I have to deal with a new King…who's name is…King DDD!" Mabel said, not liking the situation much.Chapter#5: King DDD's SadnessOne Day, King DDD was upset to find out that none of the people of Cappytown wanted to pay any attention to him. He was so upset (Before even Tiff was born), that he punished the Cappies by making them ALL bow down to him for an hour! (When Kirby arrived in Cappytown, King DDD was only 18, and when Kirby faced NME King was 21, and met Marionette a year later).
Although this may seem mean, King DDD, was just lonely. When he met Marionette, and she became queen, King DDD was finally happy.
That was King DDD's story, and I hope you liked it!
