A/N: Prepare yourselves for the most random - but still pretty adorable - mizley fluff I've ever written.

Disclaimer: I own absolutely nothing but the idea.

"Comon' Alex! Quit being so slow!" The young Mike Mizanin said as he literally dragged his friend up the stairs – well at least he attempted to but Alex was putting up a bit of a struggle.

"Why can't we just go back to watching cartoons?" Alex Riley asked, taking one last look at the family room where he could hear the cartoon and see just a little bit of the television screen it was playing on.

Mike sighed overdramatically, "Because there's way cooler stuff up in the attic." He pulled his friend by the wrist up a few more steps.

"The attic?" He didn't like the sound of that. Weren't attics dark and creepy, with spider webs and other scary things?

"Yeah, the attic." The shorter boy replied as he turned his back to Alex but continued pulling him by his wrist. "Now hurry up! I wanna see the ghosts."

"G-ghosts? What ghosts?" Alex gulped – he definitely didn't like the sound of that. The two boys were getting closer and closer to the attic and all Alex wanted to do was run away.

"The ghosts that live in the attic, duh!" Mike said as he swung open the attic door and practically flung Alex inside. He closed the door behind him and pulled out a small flashlight from his pocket. He turned it on and the light casted all sorts of shadows on boxes, pictures and other miscellaneous junk. "See, there's one!" Mike whispered excitedly.

Alex scurried over next to Mike and somewhat coward behind him – it was rather difficult as Alex was taller than Mike was. "But ghosts aren't real…Right?"Alex said uncertainly.

"Course they're real! See for yourself, there's a ton of them up here." Mike said, waving his flashlight all around. Alex's eyes darted around the room. Mike turned his head to his friend and saw how scared he looked. "You're not scared, are you?"

"What? No, I'm not scared. Their probably just shadows anyways…" The Taller boy said but it was easy to tell that it was a lie. From the way the words spilled clumsily out of his mouth to the goosebumps on his arms; Alex was extremely afraid of ghosts.

"Alex, don't worry they're not going to hurt you." Mike said and grabbed Alex's hand with his left one. "I won't let them hurt you." Alex nodded and gave his friend a small smile as Mike led them to a box in the corner. The boys sat next to each other, hands still intertwined, as they searched for ghosts – eaqually unafraid.

A/N: Told you guys that was going to be random. Like seriously, how out of season is this? I should have written it around Halloween. Anyway, i hope y'all enjoyed it! Please review if you don't mind :)
