Chapter One

John's P.O.V

"Hey, Cena, good match out there." My friend, Jeff Hardy, complemented me.

"Thanks. I wonder if she was watching—"

"WHO?" Jeff sprung into my thought.

"Uh—nobody." I quickly shot back.

"No—sounds like the Doctor has a little crush." Jeff smirked. "Who is she? Is she cute?"

"Look, if I tell you—you can't tell ANYBODY! We have an agreement?" I threatened Jeff.

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever! Just tell me!"

Wow, it's times like this where Jeff annoys the CRAP outta me.

"D—Look, how about I give you clues then you can figure it out for yourself. First clue, she has black hair. Second clue, she dresses kind of skimpy-ish, and lastly, she hangs out with Jamie Valentine and Caria Moore." I explained.

"Holy crap! Why would you like Dameon? I mean, she's cool and all, but kind of a weird Goth person." Jeff said, astonished.

"Jeff, if you're just going to talk down about her, then forget it." I let out a heavy sigh.

"Well—does she like you back?"

"I don't know."

"I bet you—a steaming $100—that you kiss Dameon. Not like a wimpy peck on the cheek, but a deep, tongue kiss." Jeff waved a $100 bill in my face.

"Jeff… I don't want to bet money on this whole thing—If I wanted to confess my undying love for her, I sure as Hell that I wouldn't bet on it." I slapped Jeff's hand out of my face.

"But you'll get to be closer to her." Jeff smirked.

"Fine."

Dameon's P.O.V.

Chris, Shannon, Caria, Jamie and I were all in our hotel suite. The fire roared warmly in the pit while Jamie slept in Chris's arms. They are so cute together… I thought with a smile. It kind of made me sad how I don't have any person to call my own. I mean, I do like somebody. I just don't think he has any feelings towards me.

"Dameon, what's wrong?" whispered Caria.

"Nothing… I'm—I'm going to go take a walk." I sighed as I opened the hotel door.

The air outside was frigid. A cold breeze swept across my face. As I walked down the steps, I thought hard about the man that I liked. I wouldn't have a fighting chance with him…

"OOF!" I cried as I bumped into somebody.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Are you okay, Dameon?" asked the man.

"How do you know my na—Oh, hi John. I'm fine."

I had bumped into my friend, John Cena. He really is something, isn't he?

"Well, Valentine's Day is only about a month away. Coming by fast." John tried to make some kind of impression.

"I never really cared much for Valentine's Day. Each Valentine's Day, I've always been alone. It's depressing, really." I got kind of quiet.

"I've been alone on Valentine's Day, too. It can get depressing." John looked to the side.

"Yeah…" I couldn't think of anything else to say.

"…You don't have to be." John broke the silence.

"Hm?" I looked at him.

"You don't have to be alone on Valentine's Day anymore, or any other day for that matter. I'm here for you." John smiled.

We leaned in for something I never thought I'd get from the man I adored. A deep, passionate kiss.

"Will you be with me?" John asked willingly.

"Nothing would make me happier." I smiled.

No more lonely days, because I have the light of my life.
