Worth it
Summary: I didn't really want to put a set pairing on this. I figured it was up to interpretation. See it in whatever way you see fit.
Disclaimer: I, in no way, shape or form own anything to do with the Teen Titans. Why I have to put this at the beginning of each story is beyond me. Don't the words 'fan fiction' clearly imply that I am just some sad, sorry girl with a penchant for scribbling out stories? Anyway onto the story
She knew it was wrong. Knew that loving him would only cause her pain. Not to mention the fact that love went against everything she'd been taught to believe. For her feeling anything at all was forbidden, as well as dangerous. She knew all this like she knew the back of her hand and yet she couldn't stop it. Loving him that is.
She was unsure why she loved him. Unable to pinpoint exactly what it was about him that made her so willing to risk everything she was about. So willing to throw it all away. Whatever it was she knew it was worth it. He was worth it all.
She knew that He knew. She would catch him staring when no one was watching, catch him smile at her when he thought she wasn't looking. There were also the moments between them. They were the moments that would forever be apart of her memories. She cherished each one. They were the moments they spent together, just them. The moments when they looked at each other and it was just them everything else, as it clichéd as it sounds, just disappeared. It was then that she knew he knew the truth. Then that she knew he felt the same.
It was within these moments, during these glances, and after the smiles that she knew; yes, it was wrong. And yes, it may cause her pain. And yes, it did defy everything she'd been taught to believe. But it was worth it and she couldn't stop. Loving him that is. He was worth it and she knew it. Just like she knew that back of her hand.
So I hope that this story didn't suck too badly. If so drop me a review. If you liked it drop me a review. Either way leave me a review! Till next time!
