[Annabeth POV]
Annabeth and Percy were now officially dating. They had started to like each other since Percy came, and they had finally confessed. "I love you." Percy said those words randomly, which made Annabeth smile. "Me too seaweed brain." They went together to mess hall. When they got there they noticed that their friends were silent, something that wasn't normal. Then they saw why. Chiron was introducing them to a girl. A girl with brown eyes and hazelish hair. She looked like a supermodel. "Oh! Percy, Annabeth. This is Jade, and she's a daughter of Aphrodite. Annabeth didn't like her. Jade was looking at Percy with dreamy eyes. "I'm Jade Flora" She put so much force into her words. "Now, everyone, introduce yourselves!" Annabeth steppes in first. "Hi, I'm Annabeth and this is my boy-" Percy interrupted. "Her boyfriend Percy." Annabeth saw a flash of anger or disappointment in Jade's eyes. Everyone else introduced themselves and things got back to normal- except Jade was there. Annabeth noticed the entire time Jade was staring at Percy, and all the boys- including Percy were staring at her. Percy muttered something and Annabeth swore it sounded like, "Dang, she's pretty." Annabeth frowned. "Percy?" "Yeah?" "You wanna go on a date today?" "Sure." but Percy said it like it didn't matter, leaving Annabeth depressed.
[Percy POV]
Jade was pretty. Not as pretty as Annabeth but intensely beautiful. When Percy came she stared at him. It was clear that she liked Percy. However, even though she was pretty, Percy wasn't gonna fall for her. As a fact he knew she wasn't like Piper, a child of Aphrodite. She was more like Drew. The way she spoke with so much charmspeak. Percy would've fell for it if Annabeth hadn't been there. But she was. Percy put on his T-shirt and jeans and went to the beach- for his date with Annabeth. "Hey Percy." Was that jealousy? Annabeth looked at him stubbornly almost like checking to make sure if he actually liked Jade. "Annabeth Chase, are you jealous?" Percy teased. "Well, I love you and you only. And-" He grinned and whispered, "Nobody messes with Percabeth." Of course, Jade just had to come and ruin the moment. "Hey, Percy." She said, Batting her eyelashes. "Uh, Jade you kinda trashed our date?" Annabeth said, looking at Jade, annoyed. "Yeah, about that… Percy, why don't you dump this ugly idiot and date me? It'll be so much better than dating this stupid moron." Percy stood up. "Well, I have one answer to that." Jade flashed a smirk to Annabeth. Then Percy slapped her. "Wha-" "You're the idiot." He growled. "Nobody calls my Wise Girl and idiot or a moron. And by the way, why would a daughter of Aphrodite call a daughter of Athena stupid? I don't know, but you're a evil, stupid idiot." Jade looked shocked. "But i'm so much prettier-" "No. She's pretty on both sides. Inside and out. You? You're a barbie doll with an attitude."
