'You make me weak' her eyes say.
His brow furrows. His lips part. His actions say it for him. 'I don't have that power.'
She takes a step back, away from him then turns her back to him and walks away.
Bellamy is left behind staring at her as she moves farther and farther away from him in more than one way.
She looks back at him over her shoulder. He can see the saddest mix of longing and regret in her eyes.
The message is clear.
Of course you do.
