Have you ever wondered what is like to be trapped in school for a day? Well, I was trapped at school, during Thanksgiving break, which was 5 days! Here is my journal about all of the interesting things ... Well, almost interesting things that happened.
At the end of the day I had to go to detention. Where I found Eli there working on algebra homework. I sat down and started working on biology for science. 1 hour later I looked up at the clock and it read 4:02. I'm thinking shouldn't we have been relived by now. Moving towards the door, I notice that all of the lights are turned off.
"Hey Eli," I ask, "where is everyone?" He rushes past me, headed for the door, and tries the handle.
"We can't get out, the door is locked!" Eli screams.
"Ok, sense we are stuck here, let's find some food," I said, "you look in the cafeteria and I'll look in the teachers lounge. I'll meet you in the cafeteria."
"Ok," he replied and bounded away. When I got to the lounge there was a vending machine, filled with cokes, giant cookies, and apples. Also I saw a closet, so I went and opened it. Inside were footballs, baseball bats, and basketballs. So being the crazy person I was, I grabbed the bat, and made it hit home. The glass shattered when whacking the bat against the machine. I grabbed as much as I could and whisked away towards the cafeteria. Inside I saw Eli running around with a knife and fork, chasing albino mice. I sat down at a table right as he got a mouse with his fork.
"You're welcome to have some," I offered.
"No thanks," he replied, "I'll stick with this."
After I ate, I headed towards Mrs. Punches room and opened the door. I saw that the couch was still there, so I headed towards it. I laid down and immediately fell asleep.
