Peter woke up in a cold sweat. At first he was still half asleep and did not know why he woke up but then he Heard Pops yelling from the kitchen.
"No Tony!" Pops yelled. "I will not let him go with you after what happened last year!" At first peter was confused and did not know what Pops was talking about, but then it came to him.
Peter was taken back to last year on New Year's Eve. His father had one to many drinks when he was supposed to be spending time with Peter. Rhodey ended up coming to get Peter so he could go back home with Steve.
"Tony listen to me he is not going over!" "My son will not be with a man who might be so drunk! That he can't even walk!" Peter then heard something slam on the kitchen counter. That's when Peter got out of bed and ran to the kitchen. He saw Pops with his hands on the counter and his phone next to him.
"Peter!" Steve said. "What are you doing up kiddo?" "Oh I just heard some yelling so I came to see what was going on." Peter said. "Oh well nothing is wrong so you can go to sleep buddy." Peter was hesitant at first. He really wanted to ask Pops about the phone call, but he just ended up going back to his room.
He hear a loud sigh from Steve before he dozed back asleep.
The next morning Peter woke up to the smell of pancakes.he went out into the kitchen where he saw Steve cooking a delicious breakfast. "Morning Pete!" "Morning Pops." Peter wanted to bring up last night but he sat down quietly. He found a casual way to bring it up so he said, "so when am I going over to dads?"
Steve put the spatula he was holding down on the counter and sighed. There was a long pause before Steve said "I don't think you're going over to your dad's house this this year…" "why!" Peter said. "Well after what happened last year-." Peter cut Steve off before he could say another word." "Just because last year he happened to have one to many drinks doesn't mean you keep me from him for the rest of my child years!" Peter yelled.
"That's not what I'm trying to do Peter. I just think you shouldn't go over there for New Year's Eve anymore." Peter was getting annoyed with Steve because that's exactly what Steve was trying to do. Every time Tony did something wrong Steve would make it a big deal to try and turn Peter against him.
"That's where you're wrong Pops! Your always trying to keep me from my own dad!"
"I'M YOUR DAD!" Steve yelled. Peter looked at Steve in anger and stomped to his room slamming the door behind him.
Peter looked out his window before grabbing his web shooters and jumping out the window. Steve walked in to apologize.
"Peter?"
