KC had his own problems to deal with. Jenna and he had gotten into a fight. She wanted to give up Tyson for adoption whereas he didn't want to. Of course, Jenna had gotten her way. When didn't she? When all was said and done, KC laid there on the couch in his mother's modest apartment. His arm was placed on his chest as his mind calmly went over the recent events and where he wanted to be in his life. Now that Jenna was done with him, he could find someone else. Now that Tyson was gone, there was no point of being with her. He imagined the whole entire earth and wondered how many people are in a similar situation. "Probably none…" he muttered to himself. There was no one around to her him, only the air. He had heard about one of his better friends, Dave, and his ex-girlfriend, Sadie, and how they had broken up, just after Jenna and he had ended it. He picked up the old laptop off of the coffee table and placed it on his lap, still lying down, his head propped up on the pillow. He logged onto chat and saw Sadie online. He thought, "Sadie knows what it's like to just get out of a relationship." He clicked on her name and the green online button next to it.

Degrassifootball5: Hey Sadie… It's KC.
Sadie1996: Hi, KC… what's up?

Sadie wasn't exactly familiar with KC. She thought it was a bit strange that he was messaging her but didn't think much of it.

Degrassifootball5: Nothing much. I was just thinking… do you want to hang out at The Dot tonight? I just have a lot on my mind and it'd be nice to talk to someone new.
Sadie1996: Yeah, I guess that sounds nice. I'll see you at 7 tonight?
Degrassifootball5: Yeah, that's fine. See you.

At about a quarter to six, KC started to get ready for the friendly date. He dressed in blue jeans and his red Degrassi polo shirt. It was literally one of the nicest shirts he owned. He started to walk towards the Dot, trekking under the clear night sky. As KC was doing so, Sadie was already at the Dot. She showed up early and always liked to be there before the other was. She ordered two sodas, one for the each of them. She had already started to sip her beverage when KC walked into The Dot, searching for Sadie. He found the girl and sat down at the table. "Hey." "Hi." "You got me a drink?" "Of course." Sadie half-smiled. "Thanks." He took a sip of the drink. "So, what do you want to talk about? School or something?" Sadie questioned. "Actually, I kind of thought we could talk about other things… I heard that you and Dave broke up." Sadie's content face turned into a more provoked face. "Are you freaking kidding me?"
