To my Friends, Family and the people of Konoha
When you read this I may no longer be in this world. This life has given me such wonderful things even when my youth was long gone I never stopped having fun. I was blessed with a beautiful family, children and wife. I was able to protect the peace we worked so hard to gain and I think together with everyone we managed to build the bases of a new world. However this body of mine is at its limit.
On another letter I left you the recommendation of who I think should be my successor but of course I'll leave that matter in the council's hands. I am writing this letter as I patiently wait for a sealing ninja squad to complete the preparations for the ceremony cause as you may already know I have requested that the Kyuubi, my old and best friend Kurama, to be taken out of my body. I know that I won't live long after that if I survive the ceremony at all, for he is a part of my soul. Do not cry for me for I am a part of his soul and I will be within him protecting Konoha forever.
To my granddaughter Hinako, who will be the next Jinchuruki for the nine tails, I have this message. You are a special kid, you are destined to do great things like my friends and I once were, that's why I leave you this special present for you in the package you will find besides this letter. You'll find the Kyuubi aggressive and harsh at first but he has promised me he will take care of you and he has yet to break a promise.
To my successor in the post of Hokage I have this message, take care of the people, work with them, respect them and their opinions for without them the village cannot work, and who ever you are always have faith in them, if you do they will have faith in you.
Before I leave I want to tell you I leave no regrets behind because I've always lived according to my Nindo. Know that I love you all and that I'll be waiting for you on the other side.
