It's what friends are for
It was a nice sunny day outside and inside the mansion in bed was Thomas and Gaomon sleep peacfully until Thomas woke up but he did not feel right "mmmmm Gaomon" Thomas said in a light tone of voice which sounded rough and coughed a little after he spoke which woke Gaomon up he looked at Thomas with a worried looked "Thomas!?" he gently placed his paw on Thomas's head and it felt like he was on fire "you're burning up you got a fever" but Thomas tried to act like he was ok "i feel fine Gaomon really i do" Gaomon hated it when thomas tried to pretend nothing was wrong "ahhhhhh...aahhhh...aacchoooooo!" Thomas sneezed and he laid back down "you were saying?" Gaomon said in a worried voice as he gently stroked his paw over Thomas's head he knew with Thomas's dad too busy with other things and looking after his sister Gaomon knew it was up to him to look after him since Thomas had no one else to care for him which did anger Gaomon a lot which started to make him grow a little "Gaomon?" Thomas asked as he heard Gaomon growling " it's nothing little guy now hang on i will be right back" he gently nuzzlded Thomas's face, hopped off the bed and went to get a cool towel, a drink and medicine
"i hate feeling sick i can't do anything still...at least i have Gaomon with me a real friend to look after me, always there for me and never too busy to spend time with me" at that point Gaomon returned back "right let's get you better little guy doctor Gaomon is here" they both giggled and Gaomon got back on the bed, gently sat Thomas up, got the bottle of medicine and poured some onto a spoon but like any child Thomas hated taking medicine "Gaomon i hate that stuff it tastes soo horrible" although Gaomon did not want to force Thomas to take it he knew he had to try to help Thomas take his medicine "i know it does not taste nice and honestly even i will admit it does have not a nice smell to it but the worse it is the quicker it helps you to get better also think about your sister she has to take medicine a lot and she is only a baby she is a brave girl wouldn't you say?" this made Thomas think of his poor sick sister Relena who was born so sick she had to have medicen every day "yea you are right Gaomon she is brave to take her's everyday...wish she didn't have to but if she can do it so can i" Thomas took the spoon of medicen and drank it "well done Thomas" Gaomon smiled took the spoon from Thomas, placed it down and nuzzled him "hehe Gaomon" he giggled as Gaomon placed the cool towel over his head, laid down next to Thomas and Thomas had some of the drink, laid his head on Gaomon's chest and the pair of them watched tv for a bit with Thomas happy knowing he had someone always there for him besides it's what friends are for.
