Just some cute Kory fluff because the world needs more Kory.

When Rory didn't show up for their date Kurt knew something was wrong. He had been sitting in the Lima Bean for almost 25 minutes past the time they were supposed to meet and there was still no sign of the Irish boy. They had made plans to spend the day together and Rory was not one to forget something like that. When 30 minutes had gone by he had his phone out and was quickly dialing his number.

"Hello?"

"Brittany?" Kurt called into the phone. "Where's Rory?"

"Oh, right. He can't make your date today," The blonde replied.

"What do you mean he can't make it? Is something wrong?"

"He says I'm not allowed to tell you."

Kurt sighed. "Alright, Brittany. I'm coming over."

"He also doesn't want you to visit him either," She said.

"Ok, thanks Britt," He added before hanging up. He began to gather up his stuff before heading out to his car. He'd never listened to Rory before and he wasn't starting now.

After being let into the house by a slightly confused Brittany, Kurt headed up to where he knew Rory's bedroom to be. He threw open the door and was about to launch into a long speech about keeping secrets and why not to trust Brittany but was stopped by the sight that greeted him when he entered. Rory was curled up on his bed, his eyes red and blotchy with discarded tissues thrown all over the floor. But the thing that surprised him the most was the old battered teddy bear that he was clinging to like his life depended on it. Kurt began to grow jealous of the he held it. For god's sake, he was practically spooning that thing. Yet here he was, his boyfriend, not even allowed to come see him.

Unable to look at it any longer, Kurt made his way over to the bed and began to pry the toy from the sleeping boy's arms. Rory let out a small whimper when it was gone but was silent after Kurt crawled in to the empty space the bear had left. Content, Kurt snuggled further into his chest and began to doze beside him.

When Rory woke up, the first thing he noticed was how much larger the object he was holding was then his usual teddy bear. Once he had rubbed his eyes open, he realized that his childhood toy had replaced, and instead Kurt was cuddled up against him. He couldn't help jumping back in shock, which awoke the other boy from his peaceful slumber.

"What's wrong? Are you ok?" Kurt asked when he was awake enough to comprehend the situation.

"Yeah. Yeah, I'm fine. H-How did you get in here?" Rory said.

"Through the front door," Kurt replied. "Next time I wouldn't leave Brittany in charge."

Rory nodded before realizing he was still missing something. "Wait." He exclaimed. "Where's Snuffles?"

Kurt raised his in amusement. "I take it you mean this?" He said holding up the stuffed bear. Rory quickly grabbed the item and hugged it tightly to his chest. Kurt pouted slightly and began to feel some of his previous envious emotion return. Noticing his boyfriend's expression, Rory glanced sadly down at 'Snuffles' before setting him aside at taking Kurt in his arms instead. Kurt smiled and gladly cuddled against him. The two spent the rest of the afternoon like that, Snuffles happily forgotten. And for once Rory actually believed him might have found something better than his old bear. But that didn't mean he wouldn't use him when Kurt was around.
