Prompt: Sway

Danny watched as Lindsay's hips swayed to the rhythm. She laughed as her dance partner spun her around the floor.

Danny's hands clenched and his jaw tightened.

"Uh, dude," Adam said from the stool next time, "She's dancing with Sid."

"So?" Danny asked.

"So, I think you can chillax. I doubt happily married with grandchildren Sid who thinks of Lindsay like a third daughter is going to try something on the public dance floor."

"I know that," Danny said, annoyed when he felt his neck heat up in embarrassment, "That doesn't mean I have to like it."

"Okay, so," Adam leaned in, "Let me get this straight. You're jealous of any one that touches Lindsay even in a platonic way. Dude you are totally gone for her."

"What's your point here, Adam?" Danny said, his fists clenching again as Lindsay began dancing with Detective Johnson.

"My point is if you're so completely insane over her you should go out there and dance with her yourself."

Danny felt his whole face heat this time, "I don't really dance."

Adam frowned, "Seriously? Dude, I can dance. You just grab the girl's waist and sway, not rocket science. You're like the playboy of our little operation, right? Just imagine you're having sex only vertical and with your clothes on."

Danny couldn't help but leer and Adam grimaced, "And by that look I can tell that you've done it like that before so dancing really shouldn't be a problem. Go and dance with her before Marty gets there because he's…."

Danny was halfway to the Lindsay before Adam could finish the sentence. Luckily Detective Johnson moved to the side so no one ended up with a black eye and Danny never realized that Marty had left the bar an hour ago.

Such was a man in love.
