It's funny how no matter how hard I try, she always find something wrong with what I've done.
It's funny how each time I train Aang, she is always looking on to make sure I won't harm the boy.
It's funny how every time I offer to help with chores around the temple, she always says she can handle it.
It's funny how we argue over almost everything, and every time she overpowers me.
It's funny how when I tell her I'm sorry for the pain I've caused her, she lets a single tear fall from her left eye.
It's funny how each time I pass her room, she mumbles something to herself and at the end I hear my name.
It's funny how as each day passes by, we begin arguing less and less.
It's funny how whenever I can't sleep, I'll go out and sit under the stars, and all I can think about is her.
It's funny how I can stare at her beauty all day, and when she asks innocently, "what are you looking at?" all I can say is, "nothing."
It's funny how the more time we spend with each other, the deeper our connection becomes.
It's funny how out of all the people I have known, she is the only one I allow to touch my scar.
It's funny how each time she touches me ever so slightly, the Avatar always glares at me.
It's funny how out of all the people in the world, we share our secrets with one another.
It's funny how each time she is scared at night, she comes into my room and sleeps in my arms.
It's funny how when we said our goodbyes at the end of the war, all I could say was, "I'll see you later."
It's funny how she replied, "I'm sure you will," and kissed me.
It's funny how a cold gust of wind shot up my spine just as the kiss happened.
It's funny how after all that time we spent together, it wasn't until that day that I realized she was the love of my life.
It's funny how when I first told her I loved her, she giggled and said, "Well thank you. I'm glad to hear it."
It's funny how when she told me she loved me, I chuckled and replied, "Thanks, that's good to know."
It's funny how once those words left my mouth, she playfully hit my shoulder and said, "Shut up and kiss me Zuko."
It's funny how even to this day, when she is known as Fire Lady Katara, I can still see her as the beautiful Southern Water Tribe waterbender that changed my life for the better.
Alrighty, so this idea was on my mind all day, and of course I procrastinated writing it. And then what do I do? Write it down at 12am. . . again. This one didn't take two hours to write though, so I'm quite happy right now.
Sidenote: Has anyone else noticed that whenever you post a story, and first line of the story is repeated? Or is that just for me in the preview mode? lol!
Anywho, hope you enjoyed reading. If you'd like, leave a review, they make me feel all warm inside. Haha. Thanks for taking the time to read!
