'Even if it were just for one moment…'
Ciel sat at his desk, his wandering blue eye caught sight of Sebastian, who had been staring at him, long before the boy had noticed.
'could you make the world disappear?'
Their gazes locked, silence filled the room, except for the ticking noise of the wall clock.
Tick-tick-tick-tick
Sebastian's eyes seemed different. Like he wanted to say something, but didn't know how to say it. Minutes passed. Ciel broke the long, silent gaze and looked down to his twiddling thumbs.
'Even if it were just for one moment…'
Ciel wants to say it; wants to confess, but is afraid.
'could you love me?'

~Flashback~
Sebastian shook his head, trying to avoid Ciel's eyes. "Demon's cannot love," he lied, "for we have no need for such emotions."
~o~
More silence. The boy's eyes flickered from his thumbs, to the demon, then he looked away.
"Sebastian, I-" "Yes, Bocchan?"
'Even if it were just for one moment…'
Ciel shook his head, holding back his words.
"Nothing. It's nothing, Sebastian. You may leave now."
"Yes…Bocchan.."
His back to the boy, Sebastian left the room.
'Even if it were just for a moment, Sebastian…
Could I be yours?'
