Author's Notes: I wrote this drabble for dirtysouldradio at livejournal. In my definition, drabbles are 100-words long, and as a result: thus. I tried to make this drabble with a hint of romance but it came out with more of a friendship-feeling than anything. But oh well. Also, compagno means companion in Italian. Or so Google said.
Compagno
He flew solo. He had no real need for companions, although have a couple of allies to take the hit before he did certainly had perks, and the only reason why he interacted with others was so that he might be able to manipulate them in the future. So it was, really, very rare when he grew attached to another being for reasons other than to have their body as a potential shell for later.
Which was why he was surprised at just how attached he found himself to her. And he decided that, perhaps, a duo wasn't that bad.
