Once there lived a bunny named Daffodil, who was owned by a girl named Emily Elizabeth. Emily Elizabeth also owned a small red puppy named Clifford. Daffodil and Clifford were like brother/sister. One night when everyone was asleep Daffodil snuck out to enjoy the peaceful night. Little did she know a small drop of moonlight fell on top of her. She became Nightmare Daffodil with the power to turn everyone's dreams to nightmares. When Clifford woke up from his nightmare he realized Daffodil wasn't on her bed, so thinking she had gone to see what had happened. He looked everywhere until his friends found him. They too had wakened by their nightmares. "Red, what's going on," Norville the bird asked. " I don't know. I'm looking for Daffodil. I can't find her anywhere," Clifford explained. " We'll help you" Jorge the dog said. " Yeah, she couldn't have gotten too far," Flo the kitten said. So the friends checked everywhere for their friend. Before they went outside to check. Teacup got scared. " W-we're not supposed to be outside at night," she said. " We have to. What if Daffodil is outside to see who had been giving everyone nightmares," Clifford asked. " Yeah," Zo, Flo's sister said. They went outside to see a bunny who looked like Daffodil but with black fur and menacing eyes. " Who are you and where is Daffodil," Clifford asked. " I'm Nightmare Daffodil and I'm going to give everyone nightmares FOREVER! MWHAHAHAHAHA!," the bunny said. " You're not gonna get away with it," Jorge said. " Oh, and who's going to stop me?," Nightmare Daffodil asked, smiling evilly. " We will," Flo and Zo said together. Nightmare Daffodil and the friends fought. Clifford and his friends used their friendship against Nightmare Daffodil, who was using the power of darkness and shadows against them. " W-we can't win against Nightmare Daffodil's powers. W-we should give up," Teacup said, sadly. " What about Daffodil," Clifford asked. " Red, we tried everything. We're not strong enough," Norville said. Clifford thought about his "sister" and decided to use his brotherly love against Nightmare Daffodil. The love was so strong that there was a blinding light from the little red puppy. Once the light was diminished Daffodil was back to her normal self and her powers was gone and everyone had good dreams again, but the bunny was sad. " I'm so sorry everyone," she said. " It wasn't your fault, Daffodil," Clifford said. " Yeah," the others said. Daffodil smiled, then she yawned which made everyone do the same which made them laugh. " Good night," they said, together. That morning Emily Elizabeth woke up to see Clifford and Daffodil sleeping together. She smiled. When she went to the dining room she looked at her parents. " Mom, Dad I had the most strangest dream last night. I dreamt Daffodil became evil and was giving everyone nightmares and Clifford, Norville, Jorge, Flo, Zo, and Teacup had to stop her," she said. " You must have had a bad dream," said her mother. In Emily Elizabeth's bedroom Clifford and Daffodil smiled for they heard everything. ' Nightmare indeed' Daffodil thought. 'I wonder if it would be last time we see Nightmare Daffodil' Clifford thought. Watching from the window was a figure. ' No it isn't the last you see Nightmare Daffodil' it thought. Then it disappeared into the darkness, to wait for the perfect moment to have its revenge.
