Background: Starts during Season 1 Episode 12 Vertigo. It will remain the same up to the point at which Felicity gives Oliver The List from Walter.
At Big Belly Burger
Felicity's POV
What am I doing.
That is the first thing that comes to mind when I thought about calling Oliver. I feel as if I can trust him, but with his track record with lying who really knows. Ever since he stepped into my office with that bullet ridden laptop he had told me nothing but lies. But I will give him the benefit of the doubt.
Oliver Walks into Big Belly Burger
Here he comes.
"Thanks for meeting me here. I was nervous to come to your house." said Felicity.
"Okay" said Oliver and it just made me so much more nervous to give the list to him.
"The thing is, I've been debating whether or not to share this with you for weeks. Can I trust you? I'm not an idiot. You've dropped some fairly ridiculous lies on me and yet I still feel like I can trust you. Why is that?"
"I have one of those faces. Sorry. Yes. You can trust me"
"Then I have something to show you" As I start to pull the list out of my bag I see the recognition on Olivers face. He knows what it is. "before Walter disappeared he gave me this he wanted me to look into it for him, He found it in your house with your mother's things".
"Yeah I recognize it. My Father had the same exact one with him when the Gambit went down. e gave it to me and wanted me to 'right his wrongs', but the thing I do not understand is why my mother would have the same exact one with her I thought there was only one copy". Said Oliver as he starts to flip through the book.
"Walter had me doing research on many other things that had to do with your mother. I found out that your mother had bought a warehouse in Starling City that had the wreckage of the Queen's Gambit in there. And this was before Walter went to Australia, and I found out the the wreckage just disappeared. When he came back he found that book and asked me to look into it. Even though the last person he had investigated it died. Wait, I was not suppose to mention that . Sorry".
"Felicity thank you for sharing this with me, I had some suspicions about Walter disappearing and you just confirmed it. And I trust you, with is something that had been hard for me to do since I got back"
