I was listening to the Phineas and Ferb song 'Summer, where do we begin?' and I had this amazing idea! Includes my OC Nafalis, Yu, and Kenta.
Note: They have been traveling together for awhile along with Gingka. Although he's not in the beginning.

Ryuga grunted and whirled around to see a laughing Nafalis. Yu stood beside her chuckling to himself and Kenta stood putting his backpack over his shoulder with a smile. Nafalis's hand was wet from the splash she had sent up at Ryuga. Ryuga shook his head, flinging water from his hair and glared at her. Nafalis stood up and Yu highfived her. Kenta walked over and commented on her aim. Ryuga smirked and set his pack on the ground.
The three children yelped in surprise as a wave of water washed over them. Nafalis looked over as Ryuga laughed kneeling next to the river, his entire arm soaked to the bone from the splash he had given them. Nafalis tossed her backpack to the ground and muttered something about payback. Nafalis jumped at him, rapping her arms around his neck and made them both roll over into the river. Ryuga gasped in surprise at the coldness of the water. Although in the heat it felt kinda good truth be told.
Kenta and Yu laughed at the sight. Yu dropped his backpack and Ryuga smirked. He grabbed Yu by the arm and pulled him into the river with them. Yu screamed in surprise and Kenta stared at them. Nafalis lay on Ryuga's chest laughing and Yu was at his right with a shocked look on his face as water soaked through his clothes. Kenta tossed his pack to the ground and plopped down next to Yu.
"Hey! Watch it Kentchi!" Yu shouted splashing him. Kenta splashed back and Nafalis dumped a bunch of water on them using her hands. Yu pulled her down next to him and she pushed him into the water away from her. The three kids stood up and started splashing each other. Ryuga just stood there and laughed. The three kids smirked and used all their hands to splash Ryuga something fierce. Kenta attacked his legs and Ryuga fell backwards into the river, making a huge wave of water cover all four of them. They all sat there a moment in silence, but then burst out laughing.
"What are you guys doing?" Gingka said setting his pack next to theirs. The three kids hadn't noticed Gingka as he stood near the edge of the river staring at them. But Ryuga had. Ryuga triped Ryuga forward and he landed in-between Yu and Kenta. All four laughed as Gingka glared at Ryuga. Gingka stood up and jumped on Ryuga, making his white haired friend scream out in surprise. The three kids watched as the two teenagers attacked each other in the water. Ryuga dunked Gingka's head under the water and Gingka gasped for air.
Yu jumped onto Ryuga and water went everywhere. Nafalis laughed and grabbed a hold of Gingka. Kenta smiled and stood up, shaking the water off of him. Gingka looked over at Ryuga as he laughed. He had always seen him laugh in evil pleasure when someone got hurt, or when he tortured another blader, but this was different. His laugh was out a joy and was genuine. Gingka then found himself laughing as well. Maybe their was hope for the older teen yet...
