One-shot. This takes place right after the forth episode, when Amy decides to answer the call of Karma. I don't own the characters.

Amy's POV:

"Hey Karma" said Amy while preparing her self mentally to tell everything to her best friend.

"Amy ! What the hell ? I've missed you all day! It's been almost 16hours! And you were so right about Liam, he's a jerk. He doesn't even want to have sex with me." Amy could hear in her voice that she was about to cry.

"Okay, bad timing..." Oops, that wasn't mean to be said out loud.

"What? What do you mean?"

"Karma I'm sorry, I need to do this, because if I don't do it now, I will never have the courage again to tell you"

"Tell me what Amy? You're scaring me. Can't you come over? I could really use a hug from my best friend right now"

"Karma, I'm in love with you. I'm sorry." And she hanged up on Karma, tears in her eyes.

She should have known that the Liam thing was not just overcompensating like Shane said. Karma's not gay. She has always been attracted to the popular guys of the school. That wasn't her case. She never looked for guys. It has always been her and Karma.

Karma tried a few times to call back but Amy didn't answer. She was too scared and ashamed to face Karma.

Karma's POV:

"Karma, I'm in love with you. I'm sorry."

She could hear the sentence going over and over again in her head. It felt like her world was falling apart. Amy, her best friend and fake girlfriend, was in love with her. Well, she didn't see that coming.

Two minutes before, she was crying on Liam's rejection. And now, it was like her heart was completely crashed. She tried to call Amy. She wanted to talk, she wanted to know more, she actually didn't know what she wanted anymore.

All that time chasing Liam while Amy was falling for her. As her best friend she should have seen that it was hurting Amy. But all she could think about was to get laid by the hottest guy of the school.

Going through the evening, thinking about it on her bed., Karma realized step by step that Liam had hurt her. Deeply hurt her. But Amy... Amy had the power to tear her apart.

Amy's POV:

As she was changing and preparing to go to bed like a zombie, Amy heard her door room open. Karma was there. She froze immediately.

The brunette closed the door behind her looking at the floor. They stood there for like eternity not knowing what to do.

Then Karma moved to her, grabbed her face in her hands and pressed her lips on hers. First it was soft, hesitant. After a short time, they melt into each other. They were on fire. It felt like their life was depending on that kiss.

When they finally broke the kiss to breath, Amy felt deep happiness but also expectation. Was this a goodbye ? Or a confession ?

" I know I have been stupid these past few weeks Amy. It has always been us. Our friendship means everything to me. And you are my world. Sorry it took me so long to realize it. I love you too."
