I look down at my phone, it's the third rig. Caller ID reads "Nick" which springs millions of questions to race through my head. Why would he call? Isn't it too soon? Why would he dare call after Saturday night?

"Just pick it up Abbs," a voice says piercing my thoughts. "You can't stay mad forever."

I reluctantly answer, "Abby speaking."

"Hi Abby, what are you doing around five?" He asks.

As if I'm going to let it go that easy! I play hard to get, even though I am never actually doing anything. "Um I don't know, can you do six?"

"I guess," He answers, "so I'll see you at the usual spot then. Bye."

"Bye," I reply, before hanging up, suspicious that we're meeting at the library

"So, six huh?" Would you like me to take you your highness?" My cousin Devon asks playfully. I am an only child and Devon is like my older brother. Devon is two years older than me, but always knows how to help. My room is currently housing our grandmother, so I have been staying in his expelled roommate's side of the dorm.

"I'm seventeen." I say maybe a little too proudly.

"And how old is your friend Queen Lizzy." He smirks.

"Fine. You can drive me Mr. Manservant" I tease.

I quickly refresh my make-up and change into my favorite blouse, and a nice pair of khakis before hopping into the car.

When we arrive he asks "You're sure you'll be alright?"

"I'll be fine" I assure my worried chauffeur.

"Ok I'll waste some time at the coffee shop. Call me when you need me to pick you up." My cousin reminds me as I get out of the car, "Oh, and, do you want me to get you something?"

"I'll be ok," I tell him , "Bye Devon"
